More Than 20 Years of Trade Remedy Experience
TTC is made up of international trade professionals who have represented companies in Korea’s major industries, including steel, chemicals, paper and textiles, for more than twenty years. That work spans the United States, Canada, India, China, Australia and Malaysia, as well as petitions before the Korea Trade Commission, and it informs a defence built for each jurisdiction’s rules and practice.
Proven Track Record
Over the past three years our professionals have handled anti-dumping proceedings including cold-rolled steel, wire rod, acetone, wind towers, forged fittings and steel nails in the United States, steel products in Malaysia, polystyrene in Türkiye and hollow structural sections in Canada. Several of these matters ended in de minimis margins, termination of the investigation or a low individual duty rate.
Accounting and Data Expertise
In an anti-dumping investigation, the narrative response and the submitted data must tie precisely to the company’s books, sales records and cost accounts. TTC analyses the client’s ERP and accounting systems to build the sales and cost databases, and reviews the items that move the duty rate — product classification, affiliated-party transactions, price adjustments, cost allocation and major input purchases.
Case-Specific Strategy and Risk Management
We study the responses, calculation methods and determinations from prior investigations and reviews to identify the issues likely to arise in the present case. Affiliated resales, further manufacturing, Section E reporting scope, the cost test, freight and price adjustments are each assessed, and an estimated margin analysis sets the direction of the defence.
Experienced Professionals at Every Stage
TTC’s partners and lead consultants take part directly from the opening strategy through the questionnaire and data review, supplemental questionnaires, on-site verification and analysis of the determination. We work closely with the client’s team and local counsel to keep the schedule and the submissions consistent.
